Paycheck Calculator ("the app") is built to work without collecting your data. This policy explains exactly what happens with information when you use the app.
Nothing. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information:
Everything you enter — wages, hours, W-4 details, deductions — is stored only on your device and never leaves it. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Once a day the app may download an updated tax-rate table (a static JSON file) from GitHub Pages. This request contains no personal data and no identifiers. Like any web server, the hosting provider (GitHub) may keep standard technical logs such as IP addresses; we never see or use them. See GitHub's privacy statement.
The optional PRO upgrade is sold through Apple's App Store. Payments, free trials, and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details, and no purchase information is sent to us. Purchase state is stored on your device and in your Apple account. See Apple's privacy policy.
The app does not target children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If the app ever starts collecting any data (for example, optional purchases through the App Store), this policy will be updated first, and the "Effective" date above will change.
